“My heart picks the colors…” Bryan Fuller
My works include: Scenic Nature Landscapes sculpted from my mind and Abstract Nonrepresentational Creations. The human eye is such a marvelous thing, it allows each of us to view the same thing and see a totally different image. What one person see's, another see's a totally different vision. This allows my art to be viewed by many and for each person to have a unique and memorable experience. My works are created with love and patience.
I have been painting since I was very young however, I had a laps of time in which Art was not a part of my life. I went into the legal field an studied and learned much, most of all I learned that I should do what I love. Art is what I love. Since then, I have been painting daily and slowly been generating a prolific collection of works. My early works are done with Android Software's Sketch Paint, I then progressed to a different Tool called Sketchbook for Galaxy by AutoDesk.
Today, I have since pushed myself away from the digital painting and progressed to painting using oil paints on canvas in a variety of sizes ranging from small fridge magnets to larger scale hanging pieces. From time to time I do return to the digital tools, however in general I have been focused on the joy's of painting on canvas. My collection thus far is growing steadily and my techniques have improved greatly over the last year. This is in large part to the wonderful instruction and guidance from The Wilmette Arts Guild and my talented professors at William Rainey Harper College. With the guidance from these two groups of educated, artistically creative minds my art has grown and evolved into a different kind of wonder. My Style and technique has grown, evolved, and adapted to changing conditions. Paint is a very unique substance, it changes with temperature, weather, and lighting.
As of today, there are two of my works hanging at William Rainey Harper College. One of which is a self portrait of myself, made by myself. I feel this is a great kindness shown to me to help me on my way to getting my art out into the world.
